The Sealink Promotional Company Ltd (SPCL) is a special purpose vehicle born through a Public Private Partnership (PPP), established to promote the Sealink Project, A project tasked with developing, operating, and maintaining a dedicated regional shipping company with operations (intraregional and coastal) to bridge maritime logistics infrastructure gaps toward promoting hinterland and coastal trade through the use of zero carbon emission vessels and sustainable ports.

The prolonged transit time, insufficient transportation infrastructure, and rising logistics costs within and between countries in West Africa and Central Africa hinder cross-border trade and movement, creating barriers to regional integration, trade flow improvement, and the free movement of goods, people, and services, hence the viability of the Sealink Project.

The role of the Sealink Promotional Company Ltd (SPCL) is essentially to:

• Raise funding of US$1.5 million from donors, development partners and private sector stakeholders for the development of the Sealink project. The funds to be raised would be utilised to cover all the costs relating to the promotional activities, and the development of the Regional shipping company under the following scope of work, among others:
• Setup and operate modest, and efficient offices in the country of incorporation or other location as deemed appropriate by the Board of Directors
• Select a management team capable of directing and achieving the goals of the SPCL
• Identify the Technical Partners for the Maritime Shipping Company (MSC)
• Incorporate RMSC and attract investors and funding.
